History Tour at Green Lake Conference Center

Saturday, August TBD, TBD

The Green Lake Conference Center’s history dates back to the early 1800s. Winnebago Indians, Pioneer Settlers, a wealthy Chicago couple, a Chicago development company, American Baptist visionaries and religious leaders of today are all part of this special place.

One of the more famous moments in the Conference Center’s history is known as the Lawson Era. Learn about Victor and Jessie Lawson and how they influenced the landscape – from paved roads to unique buildings to several towers – on the Green Team’s historic tour!

Participants should wear comfortable walking shoes and clothing to hike in.

The Green Lake Conference Center entrance is located at W2511 WI-23, Green Lake, WI 54941. Follow entrance road (Lawson Drive) all the way to the lake and park in general parking lot.
