Joshua Schoemann, Executive Director
Josh earned his BA in Political Science with a minor in Geography from UW-Whitewater and his Masters in Public Administration (emphasis in leadership and management) from Northern Illinois University. Joshua began his career working for the Village of South Elgin, IL as a Community Development Intern and later as the Assistant to the Director of Public Works. In 2006, Joshua and his family moved to Princeton where he has been working as its City Administrator and Director of Public Works. His professional experiences have included public policy, budgeting and financial management, and personnel management. Josh joined the GLA as its part-time Executive Director in June 2009.

Jen Kaiser, Member Outreach Manager
Jen graduated from UW-Whitewater with a BS in Geography (emphasis in Urban Planning) and a minor in Environmental Studies. She has held internships with Menomonee Valley Partners and Wauwatosa Development Corporation, non-profits which focus on development issues in the Milwaukee area. Having enjoyed working for non-profits, she began her career working with the Milwaukee Riverkeeper, a river advocacy organization, and later the American Cancer Society. Her professional experiences have included income and membership development, event planning, volunteer management, and community outreach. Jen began working part-time for GLA in 2007 after she and her family relocated to Green Lake in 2006.
In her free time, Jen enjoys doing anything outdoors including kayaking, fishing, biking, and hiking.

Josh Novak, Intern
Josh is currently a junior at Ripon College studying business administration and economics. Josh is originally from the Green Bay area and a graduate of Denmark High School. In his free time, Josh enjoys football, racing, hunting, and fishing.
