An Evening with Dean for Big Green:
Green Lake Association's First Annual Gala Fundraiser
On Friday, July 9th, 2010, Joe Scalissi, Dean Martin Tribute Artist, captured the "boozy, carefree spirit of the Lounge Lizard" at our first annual gala fundraiser with proceeds going to support new and existing programs.
Frequently cited as the world's most authentic Dean Martin Tribute Artist, Joe has shared the stage with these other great performers: Frankie Avalon, Al Martino, Nancy Sinatra, Dick Cotino, Frank Stallone, The Four Aces, Danny and the Juniors, and Lena Prima.
More than 250 guests enjoyed cocktails while perusing our raffle stations and live auction items. Many guests tried their luck in the raffles, while others waited to bid on live auction items. A delicious dinner was served at the Heidel House Resort & Spa overlooking beautiful Green Lake.
Many of our guests looked the part, dressing in vintage 60s attire. It was an evening filled with entertainment, socializing, and most importantly coming together to raise efforts to continue supporting new and current programs to conserve Green Lake.
